Summer 2016 I decided to collect up my best unpublished and self-published poems, and bundle them with published poems that I again have publishing rights to (essentially, any poem accepted and already published). In addition, that summer I became deeply inspired by Spacemen 3. The end result of that poetic fission was “Taking Drugs To Write Poems To Take Drugs To” and—yes!—the title is stolen from the Spacemen 3 classic of a (nearly) same name.
